MARVIN MCKENSTRY JR. IS A NATIVE OF BALTIMORE, MD. HE ACCEPTED CHRIST AT A YOUNG AGE. HE IS A HUMBLE AND GIFTED SERVANT OF GOD WHOSE ULTIMATE DESIRE IS TO DO THE WILL OF THE LORD.

Pastor Marvin McKenstry Jr., wears many hats in service to his community. As the Pastor of Victory House Worship Center, he leads with compassion and dedication. Additionally, he brings his expertise to the Mayor’s Office of Employment Development as a Workforce Manager, where he strategizes with local businesses to create employment training opportunities for Baltimore City residents. His service extends beyond duties to his career, as Pastor McKenstry is also the VIsionary, Founder and Executive Director of the Victory Now Community Development Corporation, furthering his commitment to uplifting his community. Beyond his professional roles, Pastor McKenstry is deeply engaged in reconciliation efforts as a founding member of Reconcile Baltimore, a nonprofit focused on healing the relationship between Baltimore citizens and the police force. He is also instrumental in several key initiatives in Baltimore, including the Mayor’s Group Violence Reduction Strategy and the Squeegee Collaborative. Moreover, Pastor McKenstry is a passionate advocate for unity and empowerment as a founding member of the We Our Us Unity Engagement Men’s Movement. His commitment to fostering positive relationships between law enforcement and the community is evident through his consultancy work with the Baltimore Police Department and his role as Director of Police and Community Relations for Stand Up Baltimore. Pastor McKenstry’s dedication extends to his family, where he finds pride in being a father to six remarkable children and a grandfather to six grandchildren. As a member of the Civic Action Committee of the Ministers Conference of Baltimore, Pastor Marvin McKenstry continues to be a beacon of hope and change in his beloved city.
